This podcast is a musical tribute to a sadly departed but brilliant HBO original series, SIX FEET UNDER. A groundbreaking show about the Fishers, a family of funeral directors that confront and contemplate life and death. The soundtrack to the show became a vehicle for many independent musicians through the musical taste of family’s youngest, Claire: a precocious art major just trying to find her way – as we all do.

The first episode I ever saw of this show was during the first season. My family had just gotten cable recently and wanted to check it out. While channel-flipping, my sister and I came across this weird show we had heard very little about.  That episode was “The Foot” lol. If I recall correctly, we were both shocked by what we saw. After that, I didn’t see the show again for a couple of seasons, but it was the final two seasons when I really got hooked. When I purchased the series on DVD, I watched the entire series back-to-back and was completely blown away.
